When should you not undergo a chemical peel?

• Use of Accutane or any retinoic products within the last 4-6 months.
• Pregnant or lactating.
• Open wounds, cuts, abrasions, or Herpes outbreak.
• Plastic surgery procedure within the last 3-6 months.
• Allergy to aspirin (applies only to the Gel Peel sm).
• Allergy to any constituent of the peel (patch testing prior to facial peel is recommended).
