Botox® temporarily paralyses the small muscles around your eyes and eyebrows. These are the muscles that allow you to form facial expressions, and it is here that frown lines and crow's feet appear. When these muscles are treated, the overlying skin relaxes, becoming smoother. Facial expressions are still possible, but the lines and wrinkles are reduced.
